ABOUT AFRICAN BEST YOUNG DRIVER CONTEST

The African Best Young Driver Contest 2025 will take place in Naivasha – Kenya from 31 October to 02 November kindly hosted by AA Kenya.   Building on the successful concept and framework of the European Best Young Driver Contest, which was first introduced nationally by AMZS (Slovenia) in 2017, the African Best Young Driver Contest is launching its inaugural edition. This exciting new initiative celebrates young drivers across Africa, promoting road safety and demonstrating that young drivers can be responsible, skilled, and inspiring role models for their peers and the wider community.   The contest is open to young drivers aged 18 to 26 who hold a valid category B driving license. It challenges participants on the skills that matter most for safe and responsible driving—not only behind the wheel but also in real-life situations. Competitors will put their abilities to the test in first aid, knowledge of traffic rules, road safety practices, and vehicle handling, all in a fun and engaging format.
